Lovely location and well presented restaurant. First class tasting menu with beautifully matched wines. It was impossible to pick a favorite course as they were all so good. The staff were friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend and can't wait to go back.
This place is just a gem . We went for the lunch menu and it was just out of this world. Beautiful place and the nicest of staff. Well done team Cellar, we will be back with friends next time.
Such an amazing place, the food is amazing, the staff are fantastic, very attentive and knowledgeable, they really ensure that the skills and the passion of the chefs are passed on to the diner to ensure they can really appreciate the food. Anstruther is known for its fish and chips. But The Cellar should rightly take its place as number 1. Scotland's lucky to a have a good larder and the Cellar puts those ingredients to great effect. Every plate on the tasting menu was enjoyable and full of flavour. Matched wines completed and complemented each course. The restaurant setting adds to the ambiance and the staff ensure you'll enjoy your experience at ease.
Absolutely loved this hidden gem The staff, food and ambience was beyond anything I expected ... from the entrance to the encore dessert this experience was full of history, culture and class I’ll be coming back again and again for sure
We ate at The Cellar 24 on Friday 30th May. 4 of us, my wife & I from Kingsbarns with Brother-in-law & wife from Inverness. From the moment we arrived everything was exceptional. A warm and efficient welcome from all the staff who looked after us throughout the evening. The food was delicious. Dish after dish of mouthwatering food. We felt it was good value considering the high standard of food and service. We cannot wait to return.
Well worth a visit for great food, lovely service and a cosy atmosphere. We loved everything on the set lunch menu; it was all perfectly balanced and each course brought a smile to our faces. A lovely experience, perfect for a special occasion and we will absolutely be back!
